We understand current YMCA of Austin members have a lot of questions about their membership and how it will move over to the new facility. See the frequently asked questions below to find answers to your questions.

Do current YMCA of Austin members need to do anything to become a member of the new facility?
Nope! If you are a current Y member, your membership will carry over to the new facility. We may ask you to verify and update your contact information.

Will my rates be the same as they are at the current Y?
Our rates and membership categories have changed slightly, but we feel you will be pleased with the new rates. If you would like to make a change to your membership you can do so at this time.

Will current Y members get to see the facility before it opens?
Yes! We are so excited to show you the new facility. We will be hosting a special Members Only event on January 30th, you should have received an email communication regarding this. If you haven’t received your email, check with our Membership team at the current Y for more information.

Will the facility have the same hours at the YMCA of Austin?
Our operating hours at the Y at ACRC are as follows:
Monday thru Friday \\ 5:00am – 10:00pm
Saturday \\ 7:00am – 9:00pm
Sunday \\ 9:00am – 6:00pm
*please note: these are the hours to the YMCA, not the community spaces. Please check our Hours of Operations for full community hours.

Will the YMCA of Austin be closed for a few days as they transition to the new facility?
Yes, in order to make our transition as smooth as possible and make sure we give you the best experience, the YMCA of Austin will be closing at the current facility January 27 – February 2, 2020. Reopening at the new facility Monday, February 3 at 5am, sharp.
