Children entering K-4th grade, will have the opportunity to join their Y friends and our friendly staff for supervised activities. Activities include arts and crafts, gym time, outside play (weather permitting), use of indoor playground, swimming time in our Family Fun Pool, time with the youth sports coaches and fit floor instructors and a variety of other areas around the YMCA. Our primary focus is to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students, while maintaining health and safety.

After School/No School Care

The After School Program has the opportunity to get bussed from the elementary schools to the Y. They get to use multiple areas with in our facility including the Family Fun Pool on no school days.

Transportation is available from the kindergarten and elementary schools to the Y – if this is of interest to you, please indicate so on the online registration form.

On no school days children will have time to swim in our Family Fun Pool.

Summer Daze

Summer Daze Childcare Program

Children entering K-4th grade, will have the opportunity to join their Y friends and our friendly staff for supervised activities.

The Summer Daze Program gets to use the Family Fun Pool here at the Y three times during the week and have the other two days to get out and explore different areas in town. We take on average, three out of town trips during the summer. Days of field trips are weather permitting and will be announced the week of. Field trips will take place either Tuesday or Thursday.

What care is available for my child(ren)?

At the YMCA we offer different options to suit the need of the families in our community. Below you will find two options to register for. AM/PM/Full Day options are available for all days Monday – Friday. We also have the Part-Time options for those families that only need care certain days of the week. For those families, we have the option for FULL DAY care ONLY. These 2 options include Monday, Wednesday & Friday and a Tuesday & Thursday. See below to register your child(ren) in the appropriate program.

I need care for the whole week (Monday – Friday) for AM Care, PM care or Full Day Care.
I need care for either Monday, Wednesday & Friday OR Tuesday & Thursday; Full Day care ONLY.
