After School/No School (Kids Day Out)
School Age Childcare Update Our School Age Childcare program is currently full. Families are encouraged to continue registering — your submission will automatically place you on our waitlist, and our team will contact you as openings become available.
Children entering K-4th grade, will have the opportunity to join their Y friends and our friendly staff for supervised activities. Activities include arts and crafts, gym time, outside play (weather permitting), use of indoor playground, swimming time in our Family Fun Pool, time with the youth sports coaches and fit floor instructors and a variety of other areas around the YMCA. Our primary focus is to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students, while maintaining health and safety.
The After School Program has the opportunity to get bussed from the elementary schools to the Y. They get to use multiple areas within our facility including the Family Fun Pool on no school days.

Due at Registration: A non-refundable one-time fee of $60 which covers the registration fee AND the yearly supply fee.
Transportation is available from the kindergarten and elementary schools to the Y – if this is of interest to you, please indicate so on the online registration form.
On no school days children may have time to swim in our Family Fun Pool.
Summer Daze
For children entering Kindergarten*- 4th grade in the Fall of 2026
7:00am – 6:00pm
*Children must be at least 5 years old AND potty trained.
Give your child a memorable experience this summer as they explore all that the Y has to offer. Summer Daze is all about learning and exploration, and rain or shine, participants will test their skills in sports, explore nature, create imaginative art projects, meet new friends and most importantly, have fun! Of course, we will also play games, sing songs, swim and take field trips to fun and memorable places.
Included in the weekly price is:
- Weekly Swimming
- Monthly Program Extra-curriculars (including youth sports & gymnastics)
- Field Trips
- AM & PM Snacks
- FREE tutoring for families who choose to opt in
*Swimming lessons may not be included this year due to lack of grant funding.

Payments for programming will be processed via an automatic draft three days prior to the registered week. During registration, you will be asked to provide credit card or bank account information, which will be automatically charged on Fridays. Please note that all fees are non-refundable. Insufficient funds may result in additional fees.

Program Scholarships
The funds available for scholarships are made possible through a grant from the Hormel Foundation. We believe a strong sense of ownership and pride is developed if the recipient has contributed to the cost of their YMCA involvement; therefore, applicants will be asked to pay some portion of the fees (a maximum of 20% discount for school aged care, a maximum of 50% discount for life skills and youth sports). If you have already been granted a scholarship, they will automatically be applied to future programming through the end of your scholarship period.
