SUMMER SWIM TRY-IT
This 3-day program is an opportunity for anyone who is interested in seeing what swim team all is about. During this 3-day camp we will be focusing on drills to learn the 4 competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke. Swimmers will also get an opportunity to work on flip turns and starts. No prior swim team experience required. Swimmers do need to be able to swim 25 yards (1 length of the pool) unassisted.

SUMMER SWIM CAMP
This summer swim camp will focus on building swimmer’s skills in the 4 competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke. Swimmers will also work on starts and turns. This camp is geared towards any swimmer looking for improvement in their competitive swimming skills. No prior swim team experience is needed. Swimmers must be able to swim.

AQUA PACK SWIM TEAM
The YMCA swim team is a developmental swim program run by trained coaches to improve swimmers‘ competitive skills and endurance through progression rather than intense competition. The YMCA swim team promotes healthy lifestyles while embracing the four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
Requirement: Swimmer needs to be able to swim the length of the pool, 25 yards, with no flotation.
Swimmer is able to swim 1-25 yard of freestyle with face in water majority of the time. Swimmer must be able to do this without flotation. This group would be geared towards swimmers that have passed at least level 3 in swim lessons.
Swimmer is able to swim 50 yards of freestyle with the face in the water majority of the time. Swimmer must demonstrate basic knowledge of dives or starts. Swimmer must also have the basic fundamentals of backstroke and be able to swim a min of a 25 yards.
Swimmer should have general understanding of at least breast stroke or butterfly and be able to swim a 50 of freestyle and backstroke. Demonstrate basic knowledge of a flip turn and start.
Swimmer must be able to swim 3 out of the 4 strokes legally in a distance of at a min 50 yards. Swimmer must demonstrate the ability to take correction and learn from mistakes.

Swimmers must have participated on our swim team to participate.

BEGINNNER & INTERMEDIATE STROKE CLINIC
During this clinic, our staff will be working on breaking down stroke mechanics, flip turns, and starts. This small group clinic will help your young swimmer work on improving the speed and efficiency of the 4 competitive strokes.

ADVANCED STROKE CLINIC
Participants will be presented with the 4 competitive strokes, starts and turns, and introduced to various drills and workouts for each. Each week we will be focusing on a different competitive stroke. Including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and individual medley. The coach will break down mechanics for each stroke. This small group clinic will help your young swimmer hone in on skills needed to improve their stroke performance.
