Personal Bio: I have been instructing in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I started my career while in college as an interim Fitness Director at the Winona YMCA. After graduating with my B.S. in Exercise Science, I was the Fitness Director at the YMCA at Austin for 6 years before becoming a first-time mom. Teaching yoga and fitness classes, personal training, and presenting workshops have continued to be a passion of mine throughout motherhood and family relocations with my husbands career. I feel blessed to be able to use my God-given abilities to help inspire others!
Outside of teaching/training: I am a busy mom of two amazing kids, I love to go on walks with my husband, have ladies nights with my friends, read while enjoying warm coffee, focus on my own personal fitness, and I am a Zyia Activewear brand Rep and have an Online Activewear Boutique.
Training Philosophy: Fitness is about taking care of you (the beautiful creation you are) and balancing it all together: exercise, nutrition, and mind to be the best you, so you can do life and shine to others!
